I left England for a 2 month holiday in Australia on the 2nd December 2014. My flight back was on the 31st January 2015. And I simply didn’t get on it. When it left Perth at 12:25, I was sitting in a kitchen in Melbourne, eating French toast. Since then I have been bumbling around, mostly in the Southern Hemisphere. Not getting that flight was the best decision I ever made.

Right now, following a brief stint back in the UK, I'm in Iraq - looking into what being a photojournalist is all about.
